LanGuard VM has taken delivery of the UK's first new Weedingtech MW Series unit.
Foamstream, which is available exclusively through Sherriff Amentity, is the herbicide free solution that allows land managers who have herbicide restrictions in place, have a green policy, want a planned work programme, who need immediate results and even those with invasive weed problems, such as Crassula, to control vegetation effectively and efficiently.
Foamstream allows contractors to operate in areas that have restrictions on the use of traditional herbicides such as near water. It allows them to work at any time of day in sensitive areas such as schools or play areas. Foamstream provides instant results allowing clients to see immediately, exactly where has been treated. Most importantly contractors are able to plan work for their teams as Foamstream is usable in wet and windy conditions.
LanGuard have been involved with the development of Weedingtech MW Series and Foamstream, whilst using them in the Thanet Project investigating sustainable urban weed control. “Before the introduction of Weedingtech & Foamstream, we were struggling with non-herbicide weed control. The Foamstream application has been safer, more versatile and far more efficient than other non-herbicide techniques we have tried. That is why we invested in the new MW Series,” said Al Mason from LanGuard.
Weedingtech provide sales of the machinery and LanGuard are one of the UK approved contractors who provide a contracting service for any land owners who are interested in non-herbicide solutions for vegetation management.
