Huwa-San® is a highly effective broad spectrum disinfectant for artificial sports turf, pitches and machinery.
A hydrogen peroxide based disinfectant with a two year shelf life, suitable for use at work and in the home for the cleansing a range of hard surfaces and water-based hockey pitches, to irrigation tanks and machinery. To hand contact surfaces such as tools, steering wheels and vehicle controls, sports equipment, door handles, push plates, hand rails, office furniture, office equipment and work surfaces. Huwa-San TR-50 is also suitable for infection control on 3G sports pitches and running tracks. Completely biodegradable and approved by the Health and Safety Executive as a constant dose biocide for the control of legionella as featured in HSE guidance documents HSG274 & HSG282
Huwa-San TR-50 is a 50% concentrated formulation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) uniquely stabilised with ionic silver chemistry.
Hydrogen peroxide is a transparent colourless and odourless disinfectant liquid which post disinfection quickly degrades into water and oxygen. The unique ionic silver stabilisation technology in Huwa-San TR-50 increases the stability of the hydrogen peroxide solution, without the undesirable residual effects from other potential stabilising agents, such as acids. In water Huwa-San has a proven 5 week half life.
This stabilising Huwa-San PEROXIDE technology is an integral component in making Huwa-San TR-50 an extremely powerful non-residual disinfectant.
With a contact time of five minutes, Huwa-San is proven to kill 99.999% of all known bacteria at 3% H2O2 concentration.
Conformity
Conforms to British (BS) and European (EN) regulatory standards for efficacy against viruses, bacteria and fungi, across a range of hard surfaces.
At a 3% active H2O2 concentration Huwa-San achieves greater than Log5 (99.999%) efficacy within 5 minutes, conforming to:
- Bactericidal activity (BS EN 1276 and 13697)
- Fungicidal activity (BS EN 1650)
At a 3% active H2O2 concentration Huwa-San achieves greater than Log4 (99.99%) efficacy within 60 minutes, conforming to:
- Encapsulated viruses (BS EN 14476)
A systematic review published in the Journal of Hospital Infection demonstrated that a (H2O2) concentration of 0.5% achieved a Log4 (99.99%) inactivation of human coronavirus HCoV-229E within 1 minute1.
Huwa-San TR-50 is a no rinse formulation suitable for use prior to the processing of organic approved products under EU 83412007 and EU 889/2008.
Approved by the Health and Safety Executive as a constant dose biocide for the control of Legionella featuring in HSE guidance documents HSG274 & HSG282.
