Made from Oceanomer - an innovative recycled plastic containing at least 50% ocean-bound and post-consumer waste - these tree guards combine outstanding sustainability with excellent performance. By creating a favourable microclimate, they promote healthy growth and help to establish strong roots and stems.

Oceanos provides all the benefits of a conventional tree shelter, whilst contributing to cleaner oceans and waterways.

Designed to last for a minimum of five years, Oceanos tree shelters shield young trees from browsing animals and herbicide sprays, support optimal growth conditions, and greatly improve survival rates - all while helping to reduce pollution in our oceans and waterways.

Installation

Oceanos tree shelters simple to install and help to protect our oceans and waterways. Supplied in sets of five for compact storage and transport, each tree shelter also comes with pre-fitted ties for fast and easy installation.

Once the plant is in place and the stake hammered into the ground, the tree shelter can simply be slid over the top of the plant - making sure the cable ties pass over the stake at the same time. The shelter should also be pressed 1-2cm into the soil to discourage vermin from burrowing underneath.
