A durable, easy -to-monitor bird nest box for safe roosting.

This bird nest box (also known as a roost box) has a traditional cavity nester design that is built for durability and integrity.

Ideal for a wide range of small bird species, the front-facing entrance hole is fitted with a stainless steel surround to protect from invasive activity from threats such as woodpeckers and squirrels, while still allowing access to most species of small birds such as blue tits, great tits, pied flycatchers and redstarts.

A secure, side-opening port allows simple monitoring of nests and chicks as well as easy post-season cleaning. Constructed from FSC-accredited Duraply, the nest box is given greater protection with the roof clad in our woodland green recycled farm plastic.

This nest box will encourage rapid escalation in breading success for smaller passerines in a newly planted woodland. It also offers wider nesting and roosting opportunities with monitoring features in a more mature woodland, orchard or scrub environment.
